I like jeans. I have a lot of different shapes and sizes in my closet, but most of them are classic blue or opaque black, and while timeless navy tones work as a great base for any color or surface, I’ve been itching to try something more fun for spring.
There are so many bold and fun options when it comes to jeans right now, covering everything from polka dots and dalmatian print to glittery embellishment and dopamine colors, so when it comes to denim trends for 2026, this year is more fun than ever. I decided to give a soft pink version of the Mid Rise Barrel Leg by Ro&Zo.

This beautiful set from the British clothing brand is able to make a statement with colors but in a low-key way, and duskier takes a little more than fuchsia. They are available in regular and petite lengths, and sizes cover 6-18.
After years of sticking to blue denim, I was a little nervous about trying this pair on, but it’s been incredibly wearable and super easy to make. This week, I wore them with a simple striped t-shirt and trainers, along with an oversized white shirt and loafers, and both outfits worked well. A relaxed and cheerful color feels great for a laid-back look, but the modern style of the curved leg silhouette feels sharp and polished for smarter days, so it’s great. This weekend, I plan to wear them to dinner with a frilly blouse and heels too – they work amazingly well.

I’m a curvy size 12 and sometimes I struggle to find jeans that fit my waist and hips well, so I tend to fit my body. I wasn’t worried, as this well-made pair has a slightly wider leg which means they have a little more room at the top than some of my jeans, and I think if you’re usually between sizes, you could easily get away with it. The denim is made from 100% cotton and is also incredibly soft, and even though I was put to the ultimate test of chasing my toddler around the park, it felt easy and comfortable to wear.

If you feel worried about how to style your pink jeans, then my advice would be not to overthink it. Wear your colored bottoms as you would your regular denim.
The block color may seem small compared to the traditional blue, but it will make but a stylish basis for monochrome colors or bright polka tops, as well as simple neutral things and clear white things. Other sugary shades will look good too, so try adding a buttery yellow or a light green t-shirt for a nice spin.
I’m so glad I braved this trend, as Ro&Zo jeans seem to elevate even the simplest of looks while flattering and flattering my curves. Colored denim is now my favorite look for the new season, and if you fancy trying something new, I’d also recommend embracing pink.
